
This small disco balls I found in the Christmas department of an furniture shop. I thought they would be for hanging on the Christmas tree, but unfortunately the balls should be used as deco confetti. I noticed (usually) only when I was home. And as I do not need any deco confetti, I made with the disco balls this bracelet and another earrings. Today I’ll show you how beautiful recycling can be. From plastic bottles (PET), some fabric and a little imagination you can tinker very pretty bracelets, which are also wonderful as a last minute own-Christmas present.

DIY Advent 10: Sequin Loop on a Top

The tenth DIY Advent door hides an approximately ten-year old top (how fitting!) which I spiced up with a sequined loop. For my Top I took a 1.50 m long and 6 cm wide sequin scarf that was indeed beautiful, but rather scratched me on the neck, so I did not wear it any longer.
Before we start with the instructions, I would say that most of sequined fabrics are very thin and they should at least be folded double. It looks much better when the loop is shimmering brightly.

DIY Advent 8: Buckle for a Cloth Belt

The eighth Advent calendar door brings a very light, but all the greater effect Do It Yourself guide for all those who have lying around many small neckerchiefs (I have, I have, I have!) and want to wear them like a belt. I still have to embellish my buckle with rhinestones, but this will be possible only after the Christmas rush.
