
The dress (or Longtop) was prior to spice up a free giveaway of the Greek fashion magazine ELLE. The fabric is elastic and the dress is very comfortable to wear, but unfortunately also quite boring. Since I recently had purchased some colorful T-shirt materials, I thought that they would fit perfectly to my Greek dress. The idea was born and during the work I got the inspirations how to design the patterns.

DIY Advent 9: Spice Up an Old Dress
A Nice Back…
Many of you wanted do-it-yourself ideas, for which there is no sewing machine needed. And since your wish is my command, my sewing machine makes a rest break and I’ll show you a project lacking only little sewing by hand. The shirt is cut first and then knotted and finally pimped up with a little extra wool. Instead of the wool, you can of course also take satin ribbons, depending on how noticeable you would like it. I have bought this men’s shirt at mister + lady for just EUR 9.90 and pimped it to a Neckholder Top. Fits great with jeans and as it is relatively long, you even can combine the pimped T-shirt with leggings.
