I love headbands because they make in a flash from a crowd of hair a nice hairstyle. Since I know this problem all too well, my collection accumulated to about 50 of these “Bad Hair Days” – Helpers. I prefer to buy cheap and easy headbands, which I then individually spice with pretty lace or fabric remnants to match my outfit. Last year I bought a corsage, of which (by my inattention) the zipper broke before the first time wearing. I have promptly brought a new corsage, and from the old I made two new brooches by myself. One of these is this Plaid-, College- or Club-brooch, which I have embellished with an additional application.
